Tapioca pudding recipe - Tha-gu Mon

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 8 oz tapioca
  • 7½ oz soft brown sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ pt water
  • 4 oz grated coconut
  • 1½ tsp caster sugar

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Add tapioca, brown sugar, salt and water in a pot and bring to boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer gently for about 12 minutes until mixture is thick and tapioca is tender.
  3. Remove from heat and pour into a lightly greased dish. Set aside to cool.
  4. Spoon out mixture and roll on coconut and caster sugar.
  5. Serve immediately.
