Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 cup split peas
- 2 finely chopped onions
- ¼ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp corn oil
Preparation (instructions)
- Soak spilt peas with water overnight.
- Drain and grind peas into fine paste using a blender or food processor.
- Mix pea paste with remaining ingredients except oil.
- Make into small balls and slightly press to flatten it.
- Heat oil in a heavy saucepan.
- Drop balls one at a time and fry until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on kitchen paper towel.
- Serve hot.
