Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 lb fish
- 2 tbsp shrimp paste
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- ¾ tsp salt
- 4 crushed garlic cloves
- 2 qt water
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 4 tbsp pea powder
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp tamarind
- 8 grinded chilies
- 3 lb boiled thin rice noodle
Preparation (instructions)
- Add first 6 ingredients and bring to boil.
- Remove 1/3 of boiled fish from pan, dry in pan to get fish powder with 1 tsp oil.
- Fry 2 tsp chili powder with remaining oil in a pan.
- In each serving plate, add grinded chili, tamarind paste with water, cooked pea powder and cooked
chili powder.
- Serve rice noodle in serving bowls.
- Serve fish soup in another separate serving bowls.
