Oxtail & watercress soup recipe - Nwa Mee Hinga

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1 lb oxtail
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 bunch watercress

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Broil oxtail for 16 minutes until well roasted.
  2. In a pan, add in oxtail and remaining ingredients except watercress.
  3. Cover and cook under low heat for about an hour.
  4. Stir in watercress and cook for a further 2 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.
