Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1½ tbsp vegetable oil
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 sliced onion
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 2 green chilies
- 4½ cups gourd leaves, cut into bite size
- salt to taste
- ½ tsp hot bean paste
Preparation (instructions)
- Heat oil in a large skillet and add turmeric and onion.
- Cook until onion is clear and stir in tomatoes and chilies.
- Cover and simmer until tomato juice is incorporated.
- Add in gourd leaves and salt.
- Toss lightly and cook until greens are tender.
- Stir in bean paste and give a quick toss.
- Serve immediately.
