Ingredients (nutrition)
- 6 peeled garlic cloves
- 2 onions
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1½ tbsp dried shrimp powder
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 6 bunches shredded roselle leaves
- 1 tsp shrimp paste
- 1 tbsp water
- 5 shredded bamboo shoots
- 4 green chilies
Preparation (instructions)
- Pound onions and 2 garlic cloves using pestle.
- Combine chili powder with paste.
- Roughly grind dried shrimp using a food processor. Mix together with remaining garlic.
- Heat oil in a large skillet and add in turmeric powder and chili paste until golden brown.
- Add in roselle leaves, shrimp powder, shrimp paste, water and cook for 12 minutes before adding remaining ingredients.
- Cook for a further 4 minutes.
- Serve instantly.
