Fresh green soup recipe - Hin-nu-nwe Hin-gyo

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 pt water
  • 2 peeled and sliced garlic cloves
  • 1 peeled and sliced onion
  • 3½ tbsp pounded dried shrimps
  • ¼ tsp shrimp paste
  • 1½ tsp soy sauce
  • salt to taste
  • 2 oz fresh green leaves (watercress, spinach, cabbage or mustard leaves)

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Add water, garlic and onion in a saucepan and bring to boil.
  2. Reduce heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Bring to boil for about 6 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with steamed fragrant rice.
